Helpful Tips:

  • Please wheel all toters to the curbside by 5:00AM on the day of service every week, as Oakley Disposal provides a weekly service for your solid waste and recyclables.
  • Please bag all ashes, kitty litter, sawdust, and Styrofoam™.
  • Check your Green Waste Calendar to find out which weeks your green waste is picked up. If you do not have your Green Waste Calendar, please see the links above under the Green Waste Service or contact Oakley Disposal Service at (925) 757-7660.
  • If you have extra garbage, computers, appliances, or televisions, please call us to schedule a special pickup at (925) 757-7660.
  • RENTAL PROPERTIES: Contra Costa County ordinance states that it is mandatory to have weekly garbage service and it is the owner’s responsibility for this service. The ordinance also states that if the tenant fails to pay the bill, it is the owner’s obligation to pay the bill. We require new tenants to present a copy of the rental agreement before we start service for the tenant. As long as there are no outstanding bills for the property, we will open the account for the tenant. However, when there is an outstanding balance, we require service to be in the owner’s name.
  • Oakley Disposal Service collects garbage and recycling materials every weekday, except Christmas and New Year’s Day. If your service is interrupted on these two holidays, your garbage will be collected on the following day, for that week only.
  • Oakley County Customers: Oakley Disposal Service works with the Contra Costa Conservation & Development Department at 651 Pine Street, 4th Floor-North Wing, Martinez, CA 94553 at (925) 335-1290. For your garbage rates, please contact Oakley Disposal Service at (925) 757-7660.
