Recycling Collection

Curbside recycling is included as part of your standard residential collection service and is collected weekly.

Before placing the recycling cart, please do the following:
  • Rinse containers
  • Remove all caps and lids

Unacceptable Recycling Materials:

The following items should NOT be placed in the BLUE Recycling Containers. Some of the following materials require special handling for proper disposal.

Please be advised that Oakley Disposal Service personnel are required to leave certain materials in the containers or remove from the collection process for the following reasons:

  • Materials are contaminated
  • Materials are not included in the program
  • Materials are too heavy or large
  • Volume generated requires special pickup
